I started working with Eddie King last September. I found out about Fitness Kings through my physician’s office. I had a total hip replacement last year and was very cautious about using just any trainer but was so ready to focus on my health and rebuild my strength again. I was 60, had a new hip, and was tired of feeling tired all the time. It started with a thorough evaluation regarding current activity and eating habits, what was motivating me, and what my goals were. I was not looking for immediate results (although that would have been nice). I needed help making this a lifetime change. I was ready to be and feel healthy. Eddie was just the person for this. He is kind and patient, yet does not take “I can’t do this” for an answer. The workouts are challenging and effective. He is a great motivator but never makes me feel bad when I’ve had a slip up. We laugh a lot. He is a wonderful Christian man and I feel so blessed to have found him. I never thought I would be doing push-ups and planks and so much more that I couldn’t even do 20 years ago. I feel strong and healthy and I’m wearing jeans I haven’t been able to wear in over 6 years!

Fitness Kings is a great company! One of their best features is the workouts are held in my home each week. Eddie is an excellent trainer and very professional. He shows up every week no matter the weather. He is always ready, motivated and prepared. What I really enjoy about Eddie is that he really takes a personal interest in me. He has learned my strengths and weaknesses which helps our sessions because he knows when to push me harder and when to modify exercises. When you sign up with Fitness Kings, you also meet with the nutritionist, Lindsey. She is knowledgeable, offers great tips for making everyday dishes healthy and provides great alternatives so that you don’t feel like you are giving up too much of the things you love. I would recommend them to anyone.
